Detailed Itinerary

 

Day 01

Arusha

Upon arrival in Kilimanjaro, you will be met by your Kimbla-Mantana professional safari driver/guide and transferred to the Arusha Coffee Lodge for an overnight stay. Lodging at the Arusha Coffee Lodge.

 

Day 02 & 03

Tarangire

Drive to Tarangire. Unlimited game drives. Lodging at Tarangire TreeTops. All meals included.

 

Day 04 & 05 & 06

Serengeti

Drive to Serengeti. Unlimited game drives. Lodging at Serengeti Migration Camp. All meals included.

 

Day 07 & 08

Ngorongoro

Drive to Ngorongoro. Maximum six hours per vehicle per day in Ngorongoro Crater.  Lodging at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. All meals included.

 

Day 09

Lake Manyara

Drive to Lake Manyara. Game drive. Lodging at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge. All meals included.

 

Day 10

Arusha

Drive to Arusha. Lunch and day room at the Arusha Coffee Lodge. Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your international flight out. Breakfast and lunch included.  


Tarangire National Park

Size: 1,003 square miles

Accessible by safari vehicle

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is second only to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area in concentrations of wildlife during the dry season. The park is symbolized by the Baobab tree and is home to thousands of elephant. Wildlife viewing is excellent here and includes: wildebeest, zebra, elephant, buffalo, Grant’s gazelle, Thompson’s gazelle, oryx, giraffe, waterbuck, warthog, baboon, kudu, lion, leopard, impala, eland, hartebeest, reedbuck, gerenuk, cheetah, hyena, and mongoose.

Tarangire TreeTops sits alone in a private conservation area bordering Tarangire National Park. Each tent is built atop tree-attached platforms that overlook the Tarangire Sand River. Each en suite tent has a private verandah and lounge area.

 

 

 

  

 


 

Serengeti National Park

 Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s largest national park. Covering 5,700 square miles, the park is roughly the size of Connecticut. Serengeti National park offers exceptional year round game viewing, and regardless of when you travel, both resident and migratory animals can be found due to the size and nature of the park.

 

Serengeti Migration Camp is located in the northern Serengeti. The spacious sleeping tents are situated on wooden decks and have en suite facilities.

 

   

 

 


 

Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area

Size: 3,200 square miles

Accessible by 4x4 safari vehicle

Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area

Ngorongoro Crater is a natural wonder of the world with its scenic grandeur and stunning views. There are 25,000 larger animals within the crater itself – the crater has a soda lake and flamingo, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, plains game - all the species found in the big parks in one small crater. This is undoubtedly the best place to see black rhino in Tanzania, as well as prides of lion that include the magnificent black-maned males.

Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is perched on the eastern rim of Ngorongoro Crater. Guestrooms have ensuite facilities and magnificent views of the crater floor.

 

   

             

                   

 


Lake Manyara National Park

Size: 125 square miles

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park has the Great Rift Valley escarpment for a dramatic backdrop. Despite its comparatively small size, this park has five distinct vegetation zones and a remarkable diversity of wildlife. The park has large concentrations of elephant and buffalo. Other wildlife found here includes waterbuck, Masai giraffe, zebra and impala.

 

Each of the rooms at the Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge has a private verandah and breathtaking views of the shimmering reaches of the flamingo-frosted lake.
